A downloadable game

Violet wakes up in a familiar house with gaps in her memory. What was she doing here again? All she remembers is that she needs to get out and something seems to be following her.

This was created for the Bear Jam 2025, UC Berkeley's game jam competition. The theme was Running Out of Space, and we decided to lean into this by showing the gradual clutterment and trash buildup inside of Violet's house, or as the players move through rooms, a representation of Violet's gradual decline from the tragedy she faces.

Hints/Tips:

1. Controls: WASD for movement. E to interact, Esc to close the interaction.

2. If you cannot leave the room, you have to interact with a clue in the room. 

3. You cannot go back to a previous room, so be sure to remember the clues. 

Known Bugs:

1. Make sure to click right on the Start Game button, you might have to wait like a 10 seconds (max) depending on your system. (unoptimized af ik, my first game dev experience xd)

2. Some objects have unreliable hitboxes, you may have to reorientate yourself to be able to interact with the objects. 

3. We were overly ambitious with our goals, so don't feel we communicated the story in the most effective way. Here is the full plot: https://pastebin.com/sJkqD932

You have to click on the Start button after like 5 seconds! Lmk if that works
